Seattle Spring Trip Casual Packing List + City Guide

This spring, even though I’m not heading anywhere warm, I’m excited to take in all the great things that Seattle has to offer as the season hits. Our winters are so long and rainy, so when spring finally arrives with its blooms and miraculously blue skies, it’s like nothing else in the world! Not only does it get me excited to re-imagine my wardrobe, but also to make plans, see friends, and enjoy this amazing city!

Whether you’re packing for a Seattle trip or just need a couple fresh outfit ideas, here are a few looks, with some Seattle destinations in mind! Fun part: they’re all based around just two pairs of pants. And they’re not jeans. I have nothing against jeans, in fact I practically live in them — they literally go with everything. Sometimes it’s a fun challenge to leave the blue jeans behind and see how your clothes work with non-blue-jean alternatives.

Everlane has generously gifted me with some products, which I’ve noted below.

Here’s my pick for a travel day outfit. A longer car ride or a plane trip calls for comfort, and wearing pieces you’ll incorporate into your future outfits helps save on suitcase space.

Jeans (c/o)

Pullover

Sneakers (c/o)

First night/date night! (May I suggest Electric Cello in Georgetown?

Swapping out the top for something a little flirty (I love the tie on the back with this one!) and adding a heel takes the same jeans to a new level. Black jeans always feel a little edgy/sexy to me, and are perfect for a date night where regular blue jeans might feel unspicy.

Top (c/o)

Jeans (c/o)

Boots (similar)

This outfit is perfect for city adventuring, like taking a stroll through Pike Place, and catching an exhibit nearby at the SAM.

Vest

Tank

Jeans (c/o)

Sneakers (c/o)

This look is perfect for brunch at Cafe Flora followed by a stroll around University Village for shopping and coffee.

Shirt

Pants (c/o)

Shoes (similar)

Sling bag (c/o)

Take the look down a notch by swapping out the clogs for sneakers and unbuttoning the shirt over a tank for a casual feel. This is my pick for a stroll through Kubota Garden and checking out the newly renovated Third Place Books in the south end.

For any of these looks, I’d add this trench for an extra layer.

That’s all! Let me know what you’d add to the list for a perfect Seattle spring weekend! Also, check out my Instagram reel with all these looks!
